Terms and Conditions

East-West Global Travel & Tours Terms and Conditions These trips are arranged by East-West Global LLC, dba East-West Global Travel & Tours, located in Mesa Arizona, your tour operator. We act only as an agent for the suppliers of transportation, accommodations, food and other goods and services connected with the tour, all of which are independent contractors. We in no way own or operate the charter vehicles or facilities to be used during the tour and assume no responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents or representatives. All bookings are accepted subject to the conditions imposed by the independent suppliers and the laws of the countries in which the services are provided, and we will make no refund for a supplier's delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike or force majeure, or for elements of the trip you do not use. We reserve the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, and to make such alterations in the itinerary, and modes of transportation, as we deem necessary or desirable for your comfort, convenience or safety. We reserve the right to decline to accept or to retain as a member of any tour, any person, at any time. Baggage and personal effects are the sole responsibility of the owner at all times. Participants may be photographed for the promotional purposes of East-West Global Travel & Tours. You are subject to these terms and conditions, and you as such, agree to indemnify East-West Global LLC, East-West Global Travel & Tours, and any claim or dispute shall be governed by laws of the United States, and subject to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the court located in Mesa, Maricopa County, AZ, USA. Payment of the non-refundable deposit to East-West Global Tours constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Land Rates Land rates are per person, double occupancy unless otherwise noted. Availability of departures at the prices noted in the brochure is limited. For current prices, please see our website. Government taxes and fees are additional. Land rates are guaranteed at the time of deposit. Certain taxes/fees are to be paid upon exiting the country in local currencies. Please refer to the appropriate tour itinerary for details. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to increase prices in the event of fuel price increases, other supplier surcharges, or unfavorable changes in the valuation of the dollar to applicable foreign currency. Bespoke & Self-Drive Tours Our custom tours are created to meet the specific interest and needs of clients, and are subject to specific booking, cancellation, and other terms set forth on a per booking basis, that are generally more rigid in nature than these terms and conditions. Cancellations after first deposit result in loss of all funds, and any alterations or modifications after deposit will result in additional costs, and service fees. Payments A minimum non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Should you decide to purchase our trip insurance, you must do so at the time of booking, but have 7 days to cancel the policy, and must be done in writing. Policies that cover all trips in a 12-month period are also available. Payment of an insurance policy guarantees a full refund of all payments in case of cancellation of your travel plans for any covered reason prior to the day of departure. The balance is due 30 days before departure on all tours, except air/land tours and cruises. The balance is due 120 days before departure for air/land tours and cruises. Payment may be made by charging a clients' Credit/Debit (card imprint and signature required, and additional transaction fees may be incurred) or by sending a check or money order. Cancellations Cancellations of confirmed bookings and transfers to new travel dates both result in penalties and fees assessed by travel suppliers. If you have not purchased insurance, and you need to transfer or cancel for any reason prior to tour departure, the following cancellation fees will be assessed on your land or cruise product. Full refunds will be given for land tours if cancelled by East-West Global. Air is 100% nonrefundable once paid in full. (If cancelled prior to being paid in full the following cancellation fees will also apply to air.) • More than 30 days prior to departure: a non-refundable deposit will be retained • 30 - 16 days prior to departure: 50% of land tour price • 15 – to day of departure: 100% of land tour price Gratuities Gratuities are not included for the driver, tour director, local guides, housekeeping, concierge, waitstaff, and other personnel whose livelihood and income is dependent on the thoughtful, gracious, contributions of tour participants. We provide, at no cost, a written guide on general tipping etiquette and best practices. We encourage you to get a copy for your own use. Airfare For your convenience, we offer airfare for purchase with all vacation packages. If you purchase air travel, your airfare will be quoted inclusive of all fuel, taxes and fees. Your rates are subject to change until paid in full. Seats are limited and may not be available on every flight or departure date. East-West Global Travel & Tours does not accept liability in the case of any passenger being denied boarding by any airline carrier due to the carrier’s over-booking of a flight. Disabilities We are Special Needs Advocates and will make reasonable attempts to accommodate special needs, but we are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, and other independent suppliers, especially in foreign countries that do not have laws or provisions for travelers with disabilities. Any disability requiring special attention should be reported to us at the time you make your reservation. Travelers requiring extraordinary assistance must be accompanied by a companion who is capable of, and totally responsible for, providing the necessary assistance, at your own expense.
